Easter

We had a great Easter season. Ethan is starting to get the holidays and it was fun to see him get so excited over the different activities. On Good Friday, Ethan and Lillie went to dye Easter eggs with Grandma.
Ethan loved the 3 Easter Egg hunts he got to do.  The first one was at the local grocery store.  They hid eggs down different aisles and then each age group could do down a different aisle.  Ethan's age group went down the candy/breakfast cereal aisle.  Probably not the best idea. Once Ethan realized he could put the eggs he found in his bag, he started grabbing bags of candy and boxes of his favorite cereal.  Why take the small eggs, when you can have a whole bag?

Later we went to the town egg hunt.  They were not patient in waiting for the start.  It was chilly outside and so we left pretty quickly afterwards.
On Easter, they got to wear their new Easter outfits.  It was impossible trying to get a picture of the two of them! Ryan wasn't thrilled that Ethan was in purple, but I thought he looked cute matching Lillie!
they got to do an egg hunt with their cousins at my parent's house.  My mom got each kid a different color egg, which made it easy to make sure all the kids got an equal amount of candy.
After we got back from our Easter dinner, the kids got to see what the Easter bunny brought them.  Good thing they are not too familiar with Easter traditions and we didn't have to worry about the Easter bunny leaving goodies before they woke up around 6am. Lillie was loved the large ball, I don't think she even looked at the other treats.
