So I finally decided to go for it and create a blog for us. So I will begin at the beginning. Ryan and I met in the singles ward in DC in the fall of 2004. Ryan had just returned from his mission in Ecuador. I had graduated from BYU in the spring and was in DC with a new job as a second grade teacher. Our first date was on November 2, election day since neither of us had school that day. We hiked up Sugarloaf mountain and talked for hours. We dated for 3 months and became engaged at the end of January. We were married in the DC temple on July 7, 2005. We have been living in Maryland since then. I was a kindergarten teacher for 2 years and now I have switched
