ITS A BOY

The sonogram today revealed that our baby is a boy! Even before the sonographer said what it was, both of us could tell, he was not hiding anything! Everything was normal for the baby however, I was told that I have bilateral Uterine Artery Notching. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly it is. The doctor suggested that I take a baby asprin every day because it can lead to hypertensive disorders of pregnancy as well as intrauterine growth restriction. Hopefully I can get an appointment soon for my new doctor in CT and get some more information.

We are still discussing names. We had agreed on a girls name, but that one will just have to wait. I jokingly said we will have to battle it out for our favorite names and now Ryan says that means hes already won, since he is that stubborn and will refuse to go along with any other name but his favorite. So we will see, it may just end up being a third name we haven't discussed yet!

All Vacationed Out

Its been awhile since I've posted anything on here, but its because we have been so busy! So here is a short rundown of what we have been up to:

We started off our vacation by flying out to Utah to visit Ryan's family. We were there for two weeks including a week in Island Park, Idaho where nearly 50 family members got together for a family reunion. We had a great time and got to know the Frampton side of the family a lot better. We went four-wheeling and spent several days in Yellowstone. Ryan was determined to get the best photography shots he could so at one point he was less than 10 feet away from a moose crawling in the brush to get the shot! The trip ended in a sour note when I got sick. Ryan being the gentleman he is, went to see Batman without me! He promised we could go later, but I have yet to see it.

4 days after returning to Maryland we drove up to Brigantine, NJ (near Atlantic City) for a week with my family. We spent a couple of days at the beach, but the water was much too cold to really enjoy it. Ryan had an interview in CT on Tuesday so we had to drive up one night, interview the next morning and then drive back to the beach as soon as he was done. We also went into Atlantic City one night where Ryan won $25 at Caesars Casino.

We drove back to MD on Saturday and on Monday Ryan had another interview, this time in MD. That day he got the call with the job offer in CT and the next morning he got the offer for the MD job. Ryan mathematically worked out a way to compare the two offers and luckily he chose CT!!!! So Wednesday night we drove back up to CT with the rented Uhaul and all of our stuff. We made it just in time for my family's annual pig roast! It was great to see most of my extended family and enjoy all the good Cuban food. Ryan and I both enjoyed the chicken better than the pig. My dad attaches a chicken to each pig leg and since its away from the heat, it takes just as long to cook the 4 little chickens as it does to cook the 65 lb pig.

Needless to say we are exhausted and are ready for the school year to start just so we can get back into a routine. We have tons of pictures of our trips however, since we are still not settled in and our computer is not set up, I will have to post those later!
