These we are trying to get rid of:
There are two babies and a mom up in our attic that we hear every morning around 5am. Ryan decided to cut some branches off this tree to prevent them from getting to the roof, but the mother squirrel now jumps from the deck to the gutters to get on the roof. When I was out waiting for both of them to show their heads, the mother was getting mad in a nearby tree because she couldn't get to them.
As for updates, we have been really busy working on the house, so busy that I keep forgetting to take a pictures of it. We spent Labor Day weekend trimming bushes and cutting down tons of branches. I'm waiting for my dad to come over to help me figure out what else to cut down because everything is overgrown. There are of course more things we'd like to do but we are happy with how everything has turned out so far. Upcoming projects include replacing the faucet in the downstairs bath tub (the cold water doesn't work so we don't have a working bath tub) replacing the garbage disposal, and finding a rug and curtains for the living room. And I can't forget we have more painting. I want to finish painting the trim white. We haven't painted the downstairs bathroom because we are still deciding if we just should wait until we redo it. I'm afraid if we wait though, it might be years before we get to it though. I also have a few more things to spray paint. I love spray paint! We spray painted our kitchen table (and still have to do the chairs) and the ceiling fans. Now I want to spray the range hood black to match our new oven range and my old wicker chair, a bookshelf and a dresser. I'm also on a lookout for a bed frame that I will probably spray paint as well.
I almost forgot! I got a part-time job. Twice a week I babysit up to 5 kids at a private pool club while their parents exercise. I wasn't looking for one, but since I can bring Ethan its really just a paid play date!
Its seems like we are always working now, but we do spend time just enjoying our place. Ryan loves to take Ethan outside after he gets home from work while I finish getting dinner ready and we try to take walks after dinner down the the lake.

My goodness, that is so cool that you get visited by little bunnies and deer.
Not so awesome about the squirrel fam.
Ah well.
I guess you can't always pic your neighbors.
That's cool about your part-time job. How awesome to be paid to have a playdate for your little guy.
Oh, and I wasn't around today, but I imagine that you haven't as yet left the book at my house. If it's agreeable, you can leave it at church for me this Sunday. Just put it in the upper right cabinets in the Nursery storage room.
Thanks.
You've been busy! So glad you're in your own house. In some ways I bet it's nice to have so much to do. Sounds like the perfect part-time job, too. Did that one just fall into your lap? Convenient!
Thanks, I got the book!
Sooo soo so so cute. I love this post. We have a lot of yard work and house work to do too now that we moved. It's fun to see you again! We just saw Susan last week. I so love her!
