Fall 2014

We had a busy and fun fall.  Get ready for picture overload!

We started off with Ethan starting kindergarten and Lillian starting pre-k 4.  Ethan got into the same magnet school as Lillian and we decided to send him in there instead of the local school district.  We are very happy with the choice, both kids are doing  great in their classes!

Ethan started soccer this year. While he wasn't thrilled when he found out he was on the pink team, he had a blast.
Here is his coach and some of his teammates, 2 were away that weekend.
He did great going after the ball... but he still has to work on not stealing it from his teammates.
 He had a great season!

One weekend in September, we went apple picking.  It was really hot that day. The kids all wanted their own bag and we ended up with $30 in apples. Good thing they were delicious, we had no trouble eating them all!

 The bags got heavy quick!

Jocelyn spent the whole time wandering behind us, munching on apples.

In October Grandpa and Grandma Fisher came up to visit.  We went to a pumpkin patch while they were here.

I love the expression on Jocelyn's face!

The best part of the pumpkin patch was picking peppers.  We cooked them up for dinner that night and they were delicious!
Grandpa and Ethan decorated the driveway with dinosaurs
We also went a hike across the street with Grandma. I love my 3 kiddos!

The beautiful view of Secret Lake.
 Lillian loved having grandma around!

We ended the month with Halloween of course.  We ended up with a bunch of pumpkins from various events and had to find ways to use them all.
Our traditional carved pumpkin, Ryan did this one.
Ethan and Lillian wanted to paint some, I think these were abstract in design
The mummy pumpkin was quite easy, thats my type of pumpkin carving!
Ethan loves whales so I had to make a whale one too. It hard see, but there was a tail in the back.
This was Ethan's pumpkin that he carved on his own. I'm not quite sure what its supposed to be.
Here are their costumes: Ethan was Bumblebee, a transformer, Lillian was Princess Sophia (thank goodness she didn't insist on a licensed Princess Sophia costume!) Lillian wanted Jocelyn to be a princess too, but since it was cold and rainy, we went with Ethan's old lion costume. Josie didn't care!
Jocelyn couldn't wait to break into the candy!
Ethan's costume came with a mask that he didn't want to wear.  I try to paint the same design on his face instead.
Here is the candy haul, I think this is the last year we will be able to just do a couple of houses on our street. Ethan wanted to keep going, but the rain stopped us.
