Lillie loves Mickey Mouse and Ethan said no scary faces on the pumpkins, so we decided a Mickey Mouse pumpkin was the way to go. Neither of them like scooping out the goop.
Lillie got bored pretty quick, but Ethan wanted to help with the knife. I think it came out pretty good!
For Halloween, Ethan wanted to be a superhero. When I asked him if he wanted to be Superman, he said, I'm not superman, I'm Ethan. The same for Spiderman, Iron Man, etc. He has this thing about not wanting to be being called anything other than Ethan. So Superhero Ethan was born. After a few tries bleaching the shirt for the Super E, I finally got it to work. His cape has a lightening bolt on it because he is super fast.
Lillie didn't get a say in her costume this year, I picked it up last year on clearance after Halloween. She was thrilled with the fairy costume though and tried to wear it every day!
Their candy haul. They went trick or treating at a local nursing home, with our playgroup and around the neighborhood. It was fun to trick or treat several times, but now they don't realize that Halloween is over. Ethan keeps asking when he gets to go again!
Ryan turned 30 on the 30th and Ethan was determined to make him a cake. Luckily the power came back on in time for us to bake one for him. Ethan decided it had to be a fish since Daddy likes his fish tanks. Ethan helped decorate it, I think it came out pretty cute!
