Swim Class

We've been busy around here.  Mondays is library day, Tuesdays and Thursdays we go to work and Wednesdays and Fridays we have swim class.  Actually Wednesday is Ethan's class and Friday is Lillie's water babies class. They love swim class and each week can't wait to go.  Ethan asks in the morning if its swim class day and Lillie carries around her swimsuit and tries to put it on! Thankfully Grandpa is available and willing to watch whoever doesn't have class.  If I had to bring them both, whoever didn't have class would probably end up jumping in the pool fully clothed!  In both classes they learn the basics of blowing bubbles, scooping their arms and kicking their legs.  They practice climbing out of the pool and laying on their back.  They have a great instructor, Miss Peggy, she sings a lot of songs to get the kids comfortable with the water, getting splashed and even going under water.
Lillie loves the ball, She climbs out of the pool, throws the ball and then jumps in to "swim" over to it.  I hold put my hands under her armpits and let her do most of the work.

Still working on keeping her mouth closed!
She is the advanced swimmer in her class :) The instructor tied the pool noodle around her and then she was able to scoop and kick her away to me without any help! Look at the intense face!
Ethan gets so excited when we get there, he is like a little puppy wiggling in his spot until Miss Peggy picks the kids up to bring them to the pool.
 Practicing his kicks!
Ethan and his classmates (including his cousin Jack in the center!) kicking their way to the deep end on the magic carpet.
Working on his scoops and kicks with Miss Peggy. He also has to work on keeping his mouth closed!  Ethan loves Miss Peggy, unfortunately he calls her Miss Piggy.  I hope she hasn't heard him call her that!

Sounds like fun. I can't believe Ethan is actually 3 now, but I also can't believe my little one is 3 also! Swim class does look like a lot of fun. I love the teachers name!
